You may ask yourself, what is up with this green slimy mess of a website?
Well, allow me to tell you the tale, as my addled memory attempts to recall it! The story starts roughly in the summer of '23. The internet is changing, and for the worse. The outlook for established communities in the web-o-sphere is grim.
This, plus a few serendipitous turns of autism, stumbling on the right information with a bit of help from my friends, and encouragement from said friends, led me to decide that I should push back against the tide of enshittification and try to bring back the charms I recognized and remembered from the internet as I knew it.
Naturally, I brought my culture with me. Slime's a big theme on here, as you can see, and I'd elaborate on that further, but there's a whole other page for that. Suffice it to say, there are corners of Discord where slime is worth more than gold.
The main focus, though, is going to be my own personal interests, of which there are many. I'm a scholar of the arts, some might say, and that will certainly shine through in its own way. Shouting out my interests, things I think are cool, and various other things is the name of the game, as well as showing off projects me and my pals have been tinkering with.
If, after all is said and done, I've made a website my 10-year old self would have loved to browse and dig through, I'll have succeeded.
Gonna be some stuff in here for my own personal satisfaction, too, since I've become quite the proficient hack writer and pseudointellectual. Stay tuned for that!
